We use a test from an independent company. We install their test equipment in our electric cars, charge the car to the max and then drive the car on public roads until 10% of the battery is left.
While driving, energy is measured and then compared using algorithms with when the battery was new.
This provides an estimate of the battery’s health percentage today, compared to when the car was new.
Note: the batteries are complex and the tests should only be seen as an indication of the condition at the time of the test.
